Introduction to Socket
- You will learn to use soulstones to increase stats of an item that have a socket.
- Socket is randomly given during mobs drops and produce weapon. Later u can add more socket using skycharm.
- Socket, appear to be in a bracket have maximum of 4 socket. E.g -->☆Item Name (1 Socket) +1.
- Star ☆ is quality of an item. For weapon, 2 stars has better damage than 1. Max is 3.
- For details of other attributes, read Newbie guide u/Fatz_Cat/1183
- At any time, you can remove the soulstone from equipment to free up socket space for other attributes.
Where to purchase soulstones?
- Look for Merchandiser in any City or town for soulstone Grade 1. Drop from monster too. Use Map pw-my/map
- You can synthesize Grade 1 soulstone with Synthesis NPC to increase the Grade (for higher level equipment).
- Grade 2 onward need to synthesize at any Synthesis NPC. Need 3 x Grade 1 to make 1 x Grade 2. Check table below.
- You will need 4 Grade 4 to achieve a Grade 5. However, Grade 5 can be purchase directly from Synthesis NPC.
- Again, however, Grade 5 onward ( Grade 6,7,8,9,10), no NPC selling that grade. You need to follow below formula.
- Some examples to exchange for higher grade soul stone:
Example: If you want to make a Grade 5, you need 4 x Grade 4. But you can buy directly from any Synthesis NPC in town.
Why Grade? Why dont just 1 Grade?
This is how the game works. If you are not sure what grade you need, mouseover equipment and look for Grade Rank. Example:
Soulstones
Ok, with the soulstones above, bring it to intended NPC. Let say weapon to blacksmith, armor to Tailor and Jewelery to Jeweler. Click them and choose Soulstone Syncretizing. Remember, if you only have 1 socket, you CANT synthesize 2 soulstone into it. It will produce error message. If you meet the minimum requirement on below table, you item will produce shinning and glowing effect.
Removing Soulstone from equipment / item.
You probably need to remove this if you want other kind of attributes like suddenly you change mind to have more HP but all the socket are all used up. So you need to purify it at the intended npc too. Choose "Equipment Purify".
