Soulstone is a Magical Stone droped by monsters,or that can be bought in Npc all over Perfect world. They exist to Appy changes,or to augment certain aspects of your equipment, weapons armor and so on...after level 29 they are also used for quests like EUNICE (Quest daily that every lvl 30+ can do in Anchient Dragon city west),ROSALIND exactly the same but for after lvl 61...and so on....
Soulstones can be Classified in grade, like an engine of a car can be classified or horse power^^
Soulstones can also be Classified in type, like for example new air filters can improve speed, and disk brakes can improve security in a car^^
Grade:
The grade of a stone will determine the power of the effect,if you use a grade 5 HP stone it will give +25hp,and if you use a grade 7 for example it wil augment 40hp...and so on...u can buy grade 1 stones in Npc "Merchandizer" and you can Buy grade 5 at Npc "master of synthesys"
Type
There are 10 diferent types :
Fiery-Red Soulstone - Physical Attack/Physical Defence
WhiteBrume Soulstone - Magic Attack/Magic Defence (All elements)
Trenchancy Soulstone - Accuracy/Dodge
Lazuli Soulstone - Maximum MP
Jargoon Soulstone - Maximum HP
White Jade Soulstone - Metal Damage/Metal Defence
Beryl Soulstone - Wood Damage/Wood Defence
Balas Soulstone - Fire Damage/Fire Defence
Jet Soulstone - Water Damage/Water Defence
Topaz Soulstone - Earth Damage/Earth Defence
Regarding to Npc Master of Syntesys,he is very important to compose diferent grades of stones, than lvl 1 or 5..these grades are the only sold by Npc...So to make things easier ill put a list of what you need to do if u want to produce diferent grades of stones :)
3x Grade 1 Soulstone = 1x Grade 2 Soulstone
3x Grade 2 Soulstone = 1x Grade 3 Soulstone
3x Grade 3 Soulstone = 1x Grade 4 Soulstone
4x Grade 4 Soulstone = 1x Grade 5 Soulstone
4x Grade 5 Soulstone = 1x Grade 6 Soulstone
4x Grade 6 Soulstone = 1x Grade 7 Soulstone
4x Grade 7 Soulstone = 1x Grade 8 Soulstone
5x Grade 8 Soulstone = 1x Grade 9 Soulstone
5x Grade 8 Soulstone = 1x Grade 10 Soulstone
If by now you did understand what is a soulstone, what is their efect and how to produce you are able now, also to Aply them...on your equipment.for this:
You may go to blacksmith, jewller or tailor .depending in what equip you want to insert the stones^^
Remember your equip must have slots to spend...you use 1 stone per slot^^
Facts:
IF Your equipment is grade 5,the maxgrade you can use is grade 5 soulstones.(lvl equip=grade soulstone)
If you bought something that is already filled with soulstones you can take it,or them off by choosing "Equipment Purify" in the same Npc...
I was planing on using Images to Support but i wasnt able since i lack the Knowledge if anyone care to help i will be very gratefull^^

Archer FAQ
What is this?
This is a FAQ (Frequently asked questions)!
It shall help new Archers to to find their way.
It answers some questions which have been answered quite often in this Forum.
If u have any suggestions what I should add/change. Or when you find mistakes. Feel free to post them!!!
Flying
How can i fly?
Press “E” to open hotkeys-window. Then click on “Fly”-Button. You can drag the button to your hotkeybar if u want. Press “Space” to fly up and “z” to fly down (or arrow up and arrow down key). Press Fly button again to fall down. Don’t be afraid: You will never loose HP when u hit the ground (what a perfect world!).
Does flying always costs mana?
No! Only your first wings (the white ones) cost 2 MP/sek. Flying with Cash shop wings or the lvl 30 quest wings doesn’t cost mana.
Do I get new wings?
Yes! When you reach lvl 30, go to Ancient Dragon City Elder to get the quest for lvl 30 wings. Or buy Cash Shop wings from the item mall or the Cash Shop.
Does “Flying Mastery” work with lvl 30 wings or Cash Shop wings?
Nope it only works with your white beginner wings.
How can I fly faster?
Press “E” to open hotkeys-window. Then click on “Increase Speed”-Button. You can drag the button to your hotkeybar if u want. But u can’t fly faster forever. It costs Fuel (“Effective Time”), which u can refill with Fuelcrystals from disassembled equipment.
Equipment
My character doesn’t shoot anymore! My Ranged Weapon is red!
Your weapon is broken. Try to repair it (blame Leode if wrong hrhr)
OR
You have not equiped munition for your ranged weapon. Double click on the correct munition in your inventory to equip it.
Leode Edit: Even if your weapon is broken with 0 durability, you can still bring it back to NPCs to repair.
Where can I buy munition for my weapon? Which munition I need?
You can buy them at every Blacksmith under VII. But don’t buy the wrong munition:
1st row: arrows (for bow only)
2nd row: bolts (for crossbow only)
3rd row: bullets (for slingshot only)
I still can’t equip the munition!!!
Do you still use your starter bow? It has Rank 0. You can not buy or find arrows for it.
But you get a Rang 1 bow as Questreward for your first quest. Use this one!
OR:
There are 3 versions for every kind of munition. Perhaps you bought munition which requires a higher rank weapon. Check munition tooltip.
Which Ranged weapons are available?
Slingshot, Bow and Crossbow.
Atk speed: slingshot > bow > crossbow
Min dmg: slingshot > bow > crossbow
Max dmg: crossbow > bow > slingshot
-> xbow slow and unstable high/low dmg, slingshot fast and stable dmg range. Bow is between both.
Which weapon has the best range?
All range weapon got the same maximum range.
What is weaken distance?
Weaken distance is the distance below which you only make 50% of your normal dmg. High weaken distance is bad!
(Only lighting skills still do max dmg in melee range)
Weaken distance: crossbow > bow > slingshot
Should I use melee weapons when mobs reach melee range (weaken distance)?
Hm. Some ppl say they switch to Fist weapons when monster reach melee range. But don’t put additional points in STR to wear such a weapon. Just buy one which you can use with your current stats (usually lower lvl ones). You can make hotkeys for the range and melee weapon for fast weapon switching.
This might be a option until you get Wing attack (lvl 23) and/or Thunder bolt (lvl 13). Those do pretty nice dmg in melee range. You wont need any melee weapon when u learned those skills.
But which of the ranged weapons should I use?
Your choice. The one with highest lvl requirement and most stars is usually the strongest.
1) For normal attack the weapon with highest damage per second (=dps):
DPS = “Attack Frequency” x (min dmg + max dmg) / 2
2) For skills the one with hightest average dmg (not that sure about this, but it should be true):
average dmg = (min dmg + max dmg) / 2
What armor should I wear?
You should use light armor. It has decent magic and physical def.
You can find light armor equipment at Tailor in 2nd row of the buy menu’s.
For Light armor: STR = AGI requirements (it has no lable which says “light armor”).
What Soulstones should I put in equipment?
- Physical ATK stones in weapon.
- HP stones in rest equip.
(dodge and Pdef is only against physical dmg. HP helps vs magic and physical)
Statuspoints (= stats)
What do stats increase for Archer?
1 CON = Max HP +13, increases HP regeneration and physical def.
6 STR = 4 DEF; +5 STR = DEF +1 , increase MELEE dmg (you are NOT melee!!)
1 INT = Max MP +10
1 AGI = Accuracy +8, Dodge Rate +6, increases RANGED dmg
+ 20 AGI = +1 % Crit more
every Level Up: Max HP +26, Max MP +22
How shall i allocate statuspoints?
There are different builds. The most comon are PURE and HYBRID.
Pure:
STR: lvl+4 requirement for light armor. (example: lvl 40 -> 44 str)
AGI: everything else
CON: nothing
INT: nothing
-> every lvl: 1 str, 4 agi
Hybrid:
STR: lvl+4 requirement for light armor. (example: lvl 40 -> 44 str)
AGI: min 3 agi every lvl (to wear best possible weapon)
CON: depends on how much u wanna put in agi.
INT: nothing
-> every lvl: 1 str, 3 agi, 1 con (normal hybrid)
-> every 2 lvl: 2 str, 7 agi, 1 con (“half” hybrid)
simply every build which puts some points in con is called hybrid. It is not fixed how much u have to put in con. Some ppl even Cap it at a certain amount.
unusual build:
tank (max con, dex and str for weapon/equip req)
different pure (pure which only has str for weapon requirement)
What is the difference between those builds?
Major differences: Pure has more dmg and crit. Hybrid has more HP.
Comparing: hybrid, half hybrid, pure:
pure vs hybrid
4 agi VS 3 agi, 1 con (every lvl)

pure vs halfhybrid
8 agi VS 7 agi, 1 con (every 2 lvls)

halfhybrid vs hybrid
7 agi, 1 con VS 6 agi, 2 con (every 2 lvls)

Requirement for those tables to be correct:
Both wear the SAME Equipment. The equipment has no con/hp/agi bonus and you level mastery when ever possible.
But:
- when ATK is increased (better weapon etc) the “% dmg difference” wont change.
- when you get additional AGI by equipment, the “% dmg difference” will decrease.
- when u get +con or +hp on equip the “absolut HP difference” will be still the same (but the “% HP difference” will decrease)
additional info:
having more con will get you earlier more %HP
having more agi will not really affect dmg in early lvls. The % dmg you do more increases slowly with the lvl. That is because of the Bowmastery.
if u got questions concerning the tables. Feel free to ask!
You can find additional infos about the builds in the guides.
Information used for tables:
- dmg formula
- 1 con = +13 HP
- every lvl up = +26 HP
- every build got +1 str per lvl
How does AGI, Atk and mastery affect my dmg?
dmg = (equip atk + level)*[NewAGI / 100 + mastery]
That is the dmg you see, when u open “Character” by pressing the “C”-Button.
equip atk: physical attack of equipment together: rings + arrows + weapon (for min dmg calculation only min dmg of weapon / for max dmg calculation only max dmg of weapon).
level: Character level.
mastery: 1 + (bowmastery %) / 100.
example: example: 60% -> 1,6 | 12% -> 1,12 | 30 % -> 1,3 and so on
NewAGI: your AGI*2/3, because every 3rd AGI-Point doesnt affect the dmg. dunno why.. stupid system.
example: 150 AGI *2/3 = 100 NewAGI.
Rounding is needed by the way: 173 AGI *2/3 = 115,3 = 115 NewAGI. i think you know how to round numbers ^^.
-> every AGI increase your dmg by around +0,67 % of your equip atk (the higher your equip atk, the higher the bonus of one AGI-point)
-> Skills seem to work like a normal shot plus a fixed bonus or a percentage bonus of your equip atk (not 100% sure)
-> A skill that gives +300% equip atk, doesn’t mean that you make 4 times the dmg of a normal atk! at high Char-lvl with much AGI, +500% is for example around double dmg “only”.
Skills
Where can i learn skills?
At Master of Elf Archer in every "big" city.
Is there a list with skill developments?
Yes. Check those links:
http://asiapworld.com/pw/index.php?opti ... &Itemid=40
http://perso.numericable.fr/ecatomb/pw/
Which skills should i learn?
There will be no perfect way to spend Skillpoints. But becarefull. You wont have enough Skillpoints to learn/max every skill while you level up your character. So you may better skip some skills and choose wisely which you really need. After lvl 90 ppl say that you would have maxed out all skills.
Must haves: Bow & Arbalest Mastery (max), Repulsing Arrow (lvl 1), Great Precision (max).
For more skill suggestions read the guides and the Forum!

I can’t use Frost arrow aka what is vigor?
After lvl 9 u get vigor. Maybe you need to complete cultivation quest, I am not sure.
Vigor is the Yellowbar under your name, below HP/Mana bar.
You can gain vigor points by casting buffs and by attacking. You need Vigor for some skills like Frost arrow. Later you learn skills which need Fury (1 Fury = 100 vigor).
Quests

I am lvl 16-19. My Archer is so weak. Help me!
Do the cultivation quest when you hit lvl 19 -> you can learn repulsing arrow, which can knockback monsters.
And do the purple dungeon quest (kill some elite mobs + Boss with a party). The reward is a 3 star Crossbow.
Makes lvling much easier.

I figure it is better for me to compile a FAQ to answer most of the questions in the new magician mind. I do not claim all the work posted in here as mine as some I obtained from the community itself. So, the credit should go to the respective owners.
1)Can I learn all 3 elements tree? Or there is enough skill points to learn all 3 elements tree?
In begining level 1 to level 19, you can actually max out all the 3 elements skill. But after level 19, you will find that you would not have enough skill points to max all 3 elements trees skills at the max level you could go unless you keep on suicide to farm skill points.
This is because you have more skills to upgrade on every x4 and x9 level as you progress. You will have so many skills to learn but so little skill points to spend on it.
That is why, most guide will recommend that you focus only on a single elements or two elements tree at the most so that you can focus upgrading the skills to the maximum level as possible. The higher the skill level the more damaging the skills is. So, a level 2 skill is more damaging than a level 1 skill.
After all, the casting time is still the same no matter which level the skills you are using.
You will want to kill the mobs as soon as possible to reduce damage taken and also to conserve your mana as mage skills consume tonnes of mana.
Later on around 90++ level, you could max out those skills you ignore earlier.
Oh btw, those who say it is easy to farm skill points, take note of this, later skills requires few hundred thousand skill points to learn it :D
2)Which skills that I do not have to learn or max out?
The skills that you can left at level 1 (no matter what elements you major in) as below:
Flaming Torch
Roasting Fire Array
Sacrificial Fire Storm
Cold Dew
Frost Enchanted Weapon
Hail Storm (Do you even learn it??)
MoistCuring (dunno about the rest but I leave it at lvl 1 until I reach level 59, then upgrade to level 5 so I can have Wisdom sutra)
Sand Vortex
Distant Shrink (if not into PK and Forest Ruins)
3)Is my build correct? Or what is the best build.
a)Pure Int Build (Nuker Build)
Every 2 level, 9 int, 1 str
Pros - Highest damage Dealer in all skills except Sacrificial Fire Storm. Highest magical defense
Cons - Glass Nuke..meaning very fragile with low hp. Need hp plus equipment and add hp stone.
b)Hybrid Build (Common Build)
Every 2 level, 8 int, 1 str , 1 cons
or 6 int, 1 str, 3 cons
Pros - Hp higher than Nuker. Still need some hp stone added to equipment
Cons - A bit lower deals when compare to Nuker. A bit lower magical defense compare to nuker.
c)Light Armour Build (Balance Armour - Not recommended for newbies)
Every 2 level, 6 int, 2 str, 2 agi.
Pros - Have highest critical rate in all builds. Have higher physical defense compare to robe magi.
Cons - HP same as nuker class. Lower magical defense than hybrid. Deals damage comparable to cons hybrid
d)Heavy Armour Build (Not recommended for newbies)
Every 2 level, 6 int, 3 str, 1 agi
Pros - Highest physical defenses. (Even higher than werebeast and warrrior due to 150% bonus physical defenses by earth barrier). Can tank against low level bosses at higher level.
Cons - Low hp as same case as a nuker. Lowest magical defense (can be compensated with dual armour strategy) Deals Dmg comparable to cons hybrid
e)Cons Build (HP Build - Not recommended for newbies)
Every 2 level, 3-6 int, 4-7 cons, 0-1 str.
(Value depends on player preference to either to use your level weapon or more HP)
Pros - The highest HP in all mage build. Can tank bosses at your level due to high hp. Deals the most damage in Sacrificial Fire Storm.
Cons - Trade off between HP and latest weapon and armours.
Summary (Assume Cons build wearing Robes and prefer more HP)
Damage(general) ---- Nuker > Hybrid // Light// Heavy > Cons
Phy def ---- Heavy > Light > Cons > Nuker // Hybrid
Mag def ---- Nuker > Hybrid > Cons > Light > Heavy
HP ---- Cons > Hybrid > Nuker // Light // Heavy
PK vs melee ---- Heavy > Light > Cons // Nuker // Hybrid
PK vs magic ---- Nuker > Hybrid > Cons > Light > Heavy
4)Is there a guide on each and every mage skill?
Refer to the link below:
http://asiapworld.com/pw/index.php?opti ... &Itemid=35
and
http://perso.numericable.fr/ecatomb/pw/
5)What elements should I concentrate on?
A general description about each element below;
Fire element - Generally offensive tree.
Moderate damage and moderate casting time.
Water element - Generally support type tree.
Low damage and fast casting time.
Have healing, slowing, mana regen, increase mana capasity and zero casting time skill.
The ultimate on this tree is the most damaging one.
Earth element - Generally stunning type tree.
High damage and long casting time.
Have stunning, crippling, teleportation, confusion (causing people to miss their attack) skill.
Usually a magi will go for two elements tree to max it out before maxing the last elements.
For those who always in party and have tanker, a fire + earth elements would be useful. with tanker to support, mage would need to concentrate only on the offensive and fire moderate casting time and earth high damage works well.
For those who always solo and use kiting a lot, fire + water combo will be nice as fire moderate casting time and water slowing work complementing each others.
6)Which skills I should max out first?
The 3 initial elements skills, Blazing Hierogram, Spring Rush and Rock Fall as these skills used to fill in the gap for your combo attacks while waiting for higher level skills cool down.
Also max out Ice Shield as soon as possible for mana regen and tanking against ice mobs. Earth Shield should have 2nd priority compare to Ice Shield. Fire Shield should have the last priority among the 3 shield.
All 3 shield should be max out as soon as possible.
Generally, others skill need to be max out depends on your prefered elements trees. However, refer to FAQ no 2 for those you dont need to max out.
7)Questions about stars and slots.
Stars means quality of the equipment. The more stars means more quality the equipment is.
Max only 3 stars.
The same weapon with one star will do less damage compare to the same weapon with 3 stars.
The same also applied to armours and accessory.
Slots are upgrade options for you armour and weapon.
Max is 4 slots. For Weapon it is max at 2 slots.
There is no Slot for Ring, Necklace, and Belt Pendant.
You add in soul Stone into the upgrade slots.
Soul stone gives of certain propreties like extra HP, more accuracy, more evasion, more attacks ... etc.
8)How do I create glow in armour and weapon?
Weapon glows at 3 stars (blue glow)
Golden Weapon gives yellow/golden glow
Green Weapon gives Green Glow
Orange Weapon == no idea have not see one yet
Adding soul stone to weapon do not make it glow.
For Armour lvl 5 and above, adding 2 lvl 5 and above soul stone will make it glow accordingly to the colour of the soul stone added. Add soul stone if you have too much cash to spare (one lvl 5 cost 60k!!!, lvl 6 cost 240k!!)
9)Which weapon is the best for mage?
Mage basically have 4 type of weapon per 10 lvl. They are categories into wand, magic sword, flag/staff, and wheel. A quick description as below:
Wand - A consistence attacks type with low gap between min and max damage.
Highest min attacks and lowest max attacks
Magic Sword - A popular choice because looks like real sword.
2nd Highest min attacks and 3rd highest max attacks
Wheel - Another popular choice for those do not like staff/flag weapon.
3rd Highest min attacks and 2nd highest max attacks.
Staff/Flag - The most damaging weapon but also the most unpredictable weapon due to lowest min attacks.
Lowest min attacks and highest max attacks.
Choices for which weapon to use depends on player preference but majority stick to magic sword/wheel combination to to more consistence attacks.
10)How to kite?
Refer to the link below
http://www.asiapworld.com/pwforum/viewtopic.php?t=161
11)Mage AOE skill
a)Hail Storm (You are not going to use it. Cool Down too long to be effective in Solo)
b)Roasting Fire Array
c)Phoenix Fire Wing
d)Sacrificial Fire Storm
e)Blasting Point (Heaven Faction only - Need to test it out)
f)Pyro Edge Tempest
g)Cryonite Dragon
h)Mountain Press
12)What is chanting time and casting time?
Chanting time is the time taken for the blue bar to fill up.
Casting time is the time taken after the blue bar fill up to the effect of the spell taken place. For example is Rock Fall, the chanting time is 2.0 is the time taken for the blue bar to fill up. The casting time of 1.4 is the time taken for the animation you jump up and throw the rock (meteor??) at the enemy and the rock to reach the enemy.
13)Magic attack calculation/formula
I found this while going into older posting in another forum.
magic atk formula is: (1+int/100)*(lvl+wep matk+ring matk)
Visit the link to the post to give credit to the poster.

14)How to know whether a mob attack is magical or physical?
The easiest way to know is to see below the mobs when it attacks you, whether underneath the mobs have a circular Aura or not. If there is a circular Aura when it attacks you that means it is a magical attacks. If there is none, then it is physical attacks.
15)What is the use of Elemental Defense or attacks?
This applies only to magical attacks. By looking at the mobs type and it attacks you with magical attacks, you can know you are been attacks by which element.
For example, if a wood type mobs attacks you with magic, it will be wood based magical attacks on you. So, you magical defense against wood will come into the play to determine how much damage reduction you have against the attacks.
However, not all elemental based mobs attacks are magical. There can be an elemental based mobs but its attacks are purely physical. Refer to post 14 for how to know whether it is magical or physical attacks.
The list or elemental strength and weakness as below. Note that ">" means stronger than and "<" means weaker than. The arrangement is "attack element" "> or <" "mob element type"
Fire > Metal > Wood > Earth > Water > Fire
Fire strong against Metal, Metal Strong against Wood ...etc
Fire < Water < Earth < Wood < Metal < Fire
Fire weak against Water, Water weak against Earth ...etc

Kind of a guide which I created which lets you know what skills become available at what level as well as some suggestions concerning them. You don't have to follow my advice if you don't want to...but thought that it might be useful to some people =)
-Updated 11/12/07-
A big thank you to Mae who went ahead and pulled out the effects of the celestial/demon skills for me ^^ Those have been added. Also, some fixes have been made to my comments.
If you are looking for a Priest Build Guide please refer to this post:
u/Spirit/100 OR http://forum.perfectworld.com.my/viewtopic.php?t=883
Opel has put up an excellent guide which should help you build your priest character
If you need to view full skills details like damage and stuff when u max it, look here pw-my/skill_elfpriest
A little word on the pure heart spell. I did state to never level pure heart spell due to it's longer casting time, but given the fact that the Malaysian server tends to lag a bit more for international players, I would say that it may be okay to level it a bit. Just at higher levels it is not very useful and in the Japanese version there were a few times when I was wishing I could have some of the SP back. Ultimately again, it's a matter of your own choice and I'm just making suggestions. Hopefully this is of help to people and thank you for viewing this post! :)

Version 1.1
Level 1: None (Other than those already learned)
Level 2: -
Level 3: Great Cyclone Lvl 1
-Get this...it helps quite a bit, especially since it has a chance of slowing the enemy's movement speed (Unless, of course the enemy is ranged in which case you are kind of hosed =)
Level 4: -
Level 5: Plume Quill Lvl 2, Pure Heart Spell Lvl 2
-Get Plume Quill, as it's going to be one of your main offensive spells for quite a while.
-Do NOT EVER level up Pure Heart Spell. For one, it's a really slow ass heal. Secondly...the heal is never really that great. Third, you're gonna need the SP.
Level 6: Whisht Heart Spell Lvl 1
-Get this one. Much better than Pure Heart Spell and it works like a HoT (Heal over Time). For those who played MMO, this is akin to the Kahuna/Cleric's bubble.
Level 7: -
Level 8: Great Cyclone Lvl 2
-Must get. As a priest in earlier stages you're probably soloing if not duoing, but not being a complete healer just yet. The higher the level, the more chance there is to slow the enemy, and the duration that they are slowed also increases.
Level 9: Sapience Pour Lvl 1, Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 1, Plume Barrier Lvl 1, Flying Mastery Lvl 1
-Sapience Pour is a bit better of a heal than Pure Heart Spell and it has a faster cast time. I would definitely recommend getting this and leveling it up.
-Solid shell Hierogram is your first buff. It raises Physical Defense and is a MUST for all clerics, whether you're going to be a healer or PvPer.
-Plume Barrier converts some damage and charges it to your MP. Quite useful, especially in boss battles. Be wary though...this self buff can get quite expensive. Level up only if you're rich.
-Flying mastery is a passive that allows you to fly faster. Quite useful if you're going to be flying a lot. The choice of whether or not you want it is up to you.
Level 10: Plume Quill Lvl 3, Pure Heart Spell Lvl 3
-Last time I'm going to say it. Take Plume Quill up to Lvl 10. Never touch Pure Heart Spell.
Level 11: Whisht Heart Spell Lvl 2
-You will want this spell up to level 10, so yes, go ahead and buy it.
Level 12: Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 2
-Definitely need this. Also, level 10 of this buff unlocks the AoE physical defense buff which is extremely useful.
Level 13: Great Cyclone Lvl 3
-Also recommended that you take this one up to level 10. Extremely useful and it's also your one magical attack at the moment. (Plume quill does PHYSICAL damage)
Level 14: Flying Mastery Lvl 2, Plume Barrier Lvl 2, Sapience Pour Lvl 2
-Again, flying is your choice.
-Plume Barrier, only get if you plan on spending a lot of money/SP in the future.
-Sapience Pour, you'll want to take to level 10. Get it.
Level 15: Pure Heart Spell Lvl 4, Plume Quill Lvl 4, Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 3
-Hmm...New format I guess. For older skills, I'll put a stated target level and for new ones a bit of an explanation. So for this level...
-Pure Heart Spell: Never Level
-Plume Quill: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 16: Spirit Gather Hierogram Lvl 1, Thunder Sphere Lvl 1, Whisht Heart Spell Lvl 3
-Spirit Gather is a MDef buff and your second buff. Definitely get. Your MDef lacking companions will definitely appreciate it. Target level is 10.
-Thunder Sphere is your third attack spell. This one does Metal damage over time (DoT). Recommended Target level is 10. Note: I personally like to use this because of the extra damage, however at higher levels it is not used very often. It is particularly useful in PvP though. All of this is a matter of preference but it also helps when fighting a boss because you can cast that DoT then go back to healing. (Every little bit counts ;) )
-Whisht Heart Spell: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 17: -
Level 18: Great Cyclone Lvl 4, Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 4
-Great Cyclone: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 19: Plume Barrier Lvl 3, Flying Mastery Lvl 3, Five Element Heirogram Lvl 1, SPirit Gather Hierogram Lvl 2, Sapience Pour Lvl 3, Resurrection Lvl 1
-Plume Barrier: Level if you think you have the money/SP to afford.
-Flying Mastery: Your choice.
-Five Element Hierogram: Not recommended to get until much later, if at all. This is basically a PvP element de-buff. You will be cramped for SP in the long run if you get this.(As well as money) Note though, that this is awesome in PvP against physical attack type players.
-Spirit Gather Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Sapience Pour: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Resurrection: Resurrection is definitely handy to have. Not only does it raise the dead but also restores a bit of Exp. The higher it's level, the more Exp it restores. Your friends will love you for this (Unless it was your lack of heals that killed them =P )
Level 20: Plume Quill Lvl 4, Pure Heart Spell Lvl 5
-Plume Quill: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Pure Heart Spell: Never Level
Level 21: Thunder Sphere Lvl 2, Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 5, Whisht Heart Spell Lvl 4
-Thunder Sphere: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Whisht Heart Spell: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 22: Spirit Gather Hierogram Lvl 3
-Spirit Gather Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 23: Feather Razors Lvl 1, Great Cyclone Lvl 5, Celestial Guard Hierogram Lvl 1
-Feather Razors: Recommended to level to 10. It's your first AoE spell (Area of Effect) and is quite powerful as well as useful.
-Great Cyclone: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Celestial Guard Hierogram: This buff increases the mana/HP regen. Definitely must have and leveled to 10.
Level 24: Plume Barrier Lvl 4, Flying Mastery Lvl 4, Five Element Hierogram Lvl 2, Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 6, Sapience Pour Lvl 4, Resurrection Lvl 2
-Plume Barrier: Your choice.
-Flying Mastery: Your choice.
-Five Element Hierogram: Only if you're PvP type and have the SP for it.
-Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Sapience Pour: Lvl 10 (Target), Resurrection: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 25: Plume Quill Lvl 6, Spirit Gather Hierogram Lvl 4, Pure Heart Spell Lvl 6
-Plume Quill: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Spirit Gather Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Recommended)
-Pure Heart Spell: Never Level
Level 26: Thunder Sphere Lvl 3, Celestial Guard Hierogram Lvl 2, Whisht Heart Spell Lvl 5
-Thunder Sphere: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Celestial Guard Hiergoram: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Whisht Heart Spell: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 27: Solid Shell Hierogram Lvl 7
-Solid Shell Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 28: Feather Razors Lvl 2, Great Cyclone Lvl 6, Spirit Gather Hierogram Lvl 5
-Feather Razors: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Great Cyclone: Lvl 10 (Target)
-Spirit Gather Hierogram: Lvl 10 (Target)
Level 29: Plume Barrier Lvl 5, Flight Mastery Lvl 5, Hurricane Blast Lvl 1, Metal Element Mastery Lvl 1, Five Element Hierogram Lvl 3, Five Corporeity Hierogram Lvl 1, Celestial Guard Hierogram Lvl 3, Nimbus-Aid Hierogram Lvl 1, Sapience Pour Lvl 5, Resurrection Lvl 3, Purify Spell Lvl 1
-Plume Barrier: Your choice
-Flight Mastery: Your choice

A little word on the pure heart spell. I did state to never level pure heart spell due to it's longer casting time, but given the fact that the Malaysian server tends to lag a bit more for international players, I would say that it may be okay to level it a bit. Just at higher levels it is not very useful and in the Japanese version there were a few times when I was wishing I could have some of the SP back. Ultimately again, it's a matter of your own choice and I'm just making suggestions. Hopefully this is of help to people and thank you for viewing this post! :)
-Ence

1.1 Introduction
Many of you may have heard on World chat about AOE leveling. But some of you may ask, what is AOE (Area of Effect) leveling? AOE leveling means that you and your party secures a spot, and you guys kill as much mobs as possible around the specific area. AOE leveling have both its upsides as well as its downsides. We are going more into detail on that later. There are specific requirements to AOE level. One must be level 6x and above in order to AOE, mainly because AOE leveling for archers focuses on one and one skill only, Arrows Bombards.
2.1 Basic Necessities
- Bronze/Silver HP Hierogram (doesn't matter really, just for survival's sake)
- MP Hierogram (Important)
- A Good solid Bow or xBow
- Transcendental Scrolls (ensure fast leveling)
- Good Armours
- And it's also good to have +% experiene EQs as you zhen.

4.1 AOE Team
An AOE team consists of 6 people, namely 3 lurers, 3 Zhens or 2 lurers, 4 zhens
4.2 Lurers
Lurers play a crucial role in pulling mobs into your line of fire. Most active in a AOE party.
Lurers can be Warriors, WereBeasts.
4.3 Zhens
Zhens play the role of supporting and nuking. There are 2 types of zhen, one is the default zhen, while the other is a targeted zhen. Default zhen means just by clicking on the skill, the Zhen will be activated on the spot, anywhere. The targeted zhen however, is much more complicated, and it applies to Elf Archers.
Zhens consists of Mages, Archers and Elf Priest.
Priest is highly important in an AOE party. Therefore when you want to create an AOE party, make sure you secure a good EP.
5.1 Guide to setting up AOE
Basically there are 2 ways to set up an AOE. The PK way, and the Duel way. Lets go through the first one.
5.2 The PK way
- Hoist Cuddle another person for Vigor.
- Off Pk-safe
- Force Pk, use the skill Arrows Bombards on the EP.
- When you are still shooting Arrows Bombards, another person must invite you to join party. You must accept this invitation quickly in order not to pk the unfortunate EP.
- As Soon as you accept and you are in the party, the guy who you are bombarding will not take anymore damage, but your Arrows Bombards will continue shooting.
- Start your Transcendental Scroll
Note: This method also can be used when you are the only one who suddenly stop your aoe and wants to continue back into the team. This is so that the whole team would not stop when you stop, thus not wasting time.
5.3 The Duel Way
- Form the party
- Hoiste Cuddle a team member for vigor
- Request Duel with EP of the team (reason being they are faster to kill)
- Shot the EP with your Arrows Bombards*
- When the EP loses the duel, your Arrows Bombard will still continue
- Start Transcendental Scroll
*Edited: If an EP has more defence than normal (reason being they wear light armour than INT armour), it will be hard to finish them off with arrows bombard without finishing your Mana (MP hierogram doesnt work in duels). Hit them with normal hits until their health is around 1/3 to 1/4 left. Then finish them off with Arrows Bombards.
6.1 FAQs
Q: For a 6x, how long can you gain experience in one hour with Transcendental Scroll
A: Around 20-30% exp, depending on how good your lurers are.
Q: For a 8x, how long can you gain experience in one hour with Transcendental Scroll
A: Around 3-4% exp, agin depending on your lurers and how many DDs you have in your pt.
Q: Is there anyother downside for AOE leveling
A: Yes, AOE decreases the durability of your Weapon and Armour. After an hour of leveling, most of your Equipements will need to be repaired.
Q: Around how much does it take to AOE for an hour
A: One hour of AOE for EA can take out more than half of a Silver MP Hierogram.**
One Hierogram - 260k-300k
Transcendental Scroll - 90k-100k
Repaire of EQs - 10k-100k, depends really.
Q: Does Arrows Bombards get effected with Critical Chances and weaken distance?
A: Yes, like any other skills (other than lightning based skills) Arrows Bombards get both the Critical Chance and Weaken Distance. Critical Chance, however, does not come in waves, but on each of the mob itself. Meaning, some mob might get critical hit on a wave in an AOE while others dont. ****
Q : Why does my zhen stops after awhile even though I have a full mana hierogram?
A: It can be mainly due to a certain reasons, which Im going to point out one by one.
1 - When you start to AOE on the person, and the person runs out of screen, your AOE will stop.
2 - Your Arrows Bombards lvl needs to be less than Level 3. Reason being if you put more points into this, the SILVER mana hierogram is not enough to maintain a 1 hour zhen. This is because a Level 3 Arrows Bombards mana cost is more than a Level 1 Arrows Bombards.
3 - Run out of ammo. Bring around 5k arrows with you. Should be enough.
4 - Broken bow. Fix it :D
Q: At level 1 Arrows Bombardment, with 1 GOLDEN Hierogram, how many times can I aoe?
A: 2-3 times max.
Q: What is the difference between 3DD and 2 DD?
A: 3DD means that mobs will get killed fast, thus increasing the respawn time for the mobs. Increased in respawn time means that there will be more exp.*****

6.1 FAQs

Lvl 92 Glacier Warrior
3.2 Weeping Isle
There is a boat at Dream Searching Port with a bright red Array on the deck. Step on it and you will be teleported to Weeping Isle. Coordinates - 676, 362
